WHAT DOES THE CFFI DO?

First, it represents civic organizations as a partner to civic organizations who wish to fundraise an serve certain community functions of a philanthropic nature, without maintaining a non-profit status. The CFFI partners with these organizations and provides the necessary 501(c)(3) authorization to allows the civic organization to fundraise and carry out its philanthropic mission.

Secondly, the CFFI provides an extremely efficient way to connect donors to the charity or their choices and provide giving options through new or existing endowed or non-endowed funds.

HOW DOES MY ORGANIZATION APPLY TO WORK WITH THE CFFI?

  • Application

    If you represent an organization, charity or nonprofit and are interested in utilizing CFFI’s support and services, please complete this application form along with a $50 application fee.

  • Review

    Our Board of Directors meets once a month where we review each of our applications and conduct active reviews on existing organizations and ongoing giving initiatives. In some cases, we ask that organizations present at meetings.

  • Notification

    Once you are accepted as a CFFI organization, we will meet to have a designated representative complete all necessary paperwork to finalize the partnership and you’re all set!!
